И опять hello! Как ваши занятия? Do you like them?
Хотела написать про present simple, но поняла что о нем уже все подробно написано прямо у нас на сайте.
Читали вот это? Нет? Значит почитайте.
А я вам расскажу продолжение этого хорошего tense: Adverbs of frequency
А для разогрева давайте попробуем это задание. Нужно говорить цвет!!! а не слово которое написано.
So the first one is green, the second one is red and so on. You continue!
How often did you make mistakes? Very often? Seldom?
What can we answer to a question который начинается со слов “how often..”?
А вот что мы можем ответить:
How often do you…? |
|
100% |
always |
90% |
usually |
80% |
frequently |
70% |
often |
50% |
sometimes |
30% |
occasionally |
20% |
rarely |
10% |
seldom |
5% |
hardly ever |
0% |
never |
То есть always = 100% (всегда). Usually – это обычно, уже не 100 % но все равно. Frequently, often – часто. Sometimes, occasionally – иногда, уже 50%, а rarely and seldom – вообщередко. Hardly ever – почти никогда, ну а never = 0%, никогда. Называют эти сова adverbs of frequency – наречия частоты, то есть наречия, которые показывают насколько часто мы что-либо делаем.
For example:
I sometimes eat pizza at the weekend.
Где у нас тут стоит “sometimes”? До или после основного глагола?
After that, I am always happy. So I look like this:
Где у нас тут стоит adverb of frequency? ДО или ПОСЛЕ глагола?
There is one thing you should remember. Если у нас в present simple sentence обычный глагол (play, love, eat), то мы adverb of frequency ставим ПЕРЕД основным глаголом:
• I usually have breakfast at nine.
• He sometimes goes shopping on Sundays.
• They never drive to work.
Ну а если у нас глагол TO BE, то мы adverb of frequency ставим ПОСЛЕ этого самого to be.
• She is always happy.
• They are sometimes at this office on Mondays.
• I am never angry!

Please answer these questions:
- How often do you eat fast food?
- How often do you go to the gym or work out?
- How often do you get drunk?
- How often do you do your English homework?
- How often do your read this blog?
And here is some of this information all put together in a nice video:
Также есть такая штука как adverbs of probability. Они показывают, с какой вероятностью что-то является правдой. Например, если я скажу I will definitely call you, то это значит что я точно-точно позвоню. Ну а если я скажу что I will probably call you, то это уже не 100% обещание.
Вот какие бывают эти adverbs of possibility and probability: definitely, perhaps, certainly, possibly ит.д.
Вот как мы их используем:
maybe and perhaps обычно ставят в начале предложения:
- Perhaps the weather will be fine.
- Maybe it won’t rain.
Остальные adverbs мы ставим перед основным глаголом в предложении (но после вспомогательного глагола). В примерах глагол подчеркнут.
- He is certainly coming to the party.
- Will they definitely be there?
- We will possibly come to England next year.
Мы можем использовать adverbs of probability to talk о том, что может произойти в будущем.
- 99% - definitely, certainly
- 75% – probably
- 50 %– perhaps, maybe(perhaps and maybe – in the beginning!)
- 25% – probably not
- 0% – definitely not, certainly not
Вот какая форма у future possibility:
Subject + adverb + won’t + verb
Заметим, что мы ставим adverb после will но ДО won’t. (will not).
Here are some examples:
- I will certainly go to the seaside next summer.
- He probably won’t pass his test.
- Perhaps, I will move to New York.
Also, мы можем использовать MAY и MIGHT вместо WILL.
- May = will probably (75%)
- Might = will possibly (50%) = maybe, will
То есть мы можем сказать так:
1. I will probably go there = I may go there. Это одно и тоже.
2. I will possibly join that gym = I might join the gym.
Don’t forget: когда мы use may or might нам WILL не нужен!
Ну конечно же practice makes perfect, so here are some exercises for you:
1. Rewrite the sentences
2. Choose the correct answer
Good luck with your adverbs! =)
See you next time!
